Since 2007, the Nonprofit Collaborative has been offering a highly popular CEO Affinity Group for Executive leaders of not for profit organizations in Westchester County. We are pleased to announce, starting in Fall 2009, the CEO Affinity Group will now be enhanced by the option of two day-long leadership development workshops, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. Fall: Part one of this unique seminar is designed to build the leadership capacity of Executive Directors by introducing a variety of planning tools (Theory of Change, Logic Models, Scenario Planning, Future Search, etc.) and organizational diagnostic tools, and discuss scenarios and case studies in which they are best applied. We will identify the board development strategies to best meet the needs or your organization. Spring: Part two will focus on the role of culture in planning organizational change. We will review tools for assessing organizational culture, as well as strategies for improving communication within organizational structure. We will discuss the importance of performance management in any kind of culture shift or change initiative. Fee: $750 for both fall and spring - these workshops are designed as a cohort to build a network of similarly trained colleagues. |
