How We Work

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Collaborative

col·labo·rative adj. Working with others for a common purpose,  benefit, or goal; "a cooperative effort".

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Initially one or two primary consultants take responsibility for a project spending time in what we call the “Discovery Process” where we seek to learn about your agency and its unique needs and environment.  We then give our clients access to other consultants as needed to provide them with the optimal solutions to their needs. Our various specialty areas enable us to provide in-depth expertise in diverse areas with a competitive fee structure.

Who We Are

The Nonprofit Collaborative is made up of seasoned nonprofit consultants who offer complimentary skills and experiences in order to offer a full range of services to not-for-profits.

Our goal is to increase effectiveness by building management skills and providing guidance and support through a personalized, realistic, and viable action plan. We believe that nonprofits need to be constantly evolving to meet the changes they inevitably face.

Agencies need to be strong and resilient to compete in today’s nonprofit environment. Effective management, leadership, financial stability, a supportive and active board, solid program designs, and a trained and committed staff are essential to the health of an agency. Understanding the challenges that nonprofits face, we take a multi-level approach with clients, addressing identified needs in incremental stages while being sensitive to staff capacity, board time and resources. Our work style emphasizes good listening skills, creative thinking and flexibility.
